How it started
I grew up between the Netherlands and Scotland. I moved to London at seventeen and spent the next three years in the Philosophy department at the LSE, and out in the city.
I found myself in a life that was fun and luxurious but wasn't really my own. Still in my early twenties, I prised myself away from it to build a career on my own terms, which, during the credit crunch, took me into the corporate world. I learned, in the most unsexy way possible, how to hold a room, keep a process moving, and sit with people while they figured out what they actually wanted. I eventually washed up at Microsoft but it was the wrong shape for me. I never felt so ‘left-handed’ in all my life.
Reimagining my life
As the visions of meditating on mountains became stronger than the comfort of a regular paycheck, I began training and practising intensely, and left at thirty-two. I spent the next six years teaching yoga and meditation across London — studios, corporate boardrooms, festivals, retreats. I was good at it. In many ways I thought I’d found my ‘thing’. But, uncomfortably, something about it all felt too shallow. And I was increasingly suspecting that this version of 'me' was not who I truly was.
In the midst of it, I had what Bill Plotkin calls an ‘eco-awakening’. I went through a phase of depression as I processed grief around the state of the natural world, and got involved with activism, where I would create Sanctuary spaces and arrange mass meditations at protests across London. I also ran an online eco-wellbeing company for a year, offering yoga, meditation and other practices to bring people closer to nature.
Chaos
The pandemic struck, and with it a spiritual awakening and kundalini activation that changed the rules entirely. I undertook a five-day Vision Quest fast in the wilderness, and something shifted that I couldn't yet name. I entered a period of soul wandering — inspired by Bill Plotkin, Jung, and Campbell, and held by the mentorship of Bell Selkie.
I moved into a van and travelled around sacred sites across the UK, meditating, performing rituals, working with mushrooms, and deepening my connection with land, spirit, and my intuition. The tarot also became a much-needed map for me at this time.
“It was the most disorientated and most alive I’d ever been.”
Initiation
I was guided to Peru, where I stayed for over three years. I initiated with a Q'ero shaman, sat through weekly ayahuasca ceremonies, dieted within an Amazonian tobacco lineage, and built deep connections with other sacred plants and the spirits of that land. I studied herbalism with Sajah Popam, Qi Gong with Damo Mitchell, and trained extensively in magick with Peter Aziz — initiated as an Egyptian Priestess in the desert under the stars at Giza, and in Western magick.
Holding Space
I also trained with someone else who was supposed to be a safe guide but wasn't. I went through a deep initiation there too, and learned a great deal more about people and how to hold space. I know from experience how important it is.
Integrating in Asia
After Peru I was called to Java. I ended up in over a year of deep integration and cosmic realignment. Travelling Java in pilgrimage, then Bali, India, Nepal, and Mexico. I was soul wandering again — working with masters and mystics, praying in temples, meditating at holy cremation grounds and performing energy work at sacred sites. Fasting in pure darkness in a cave. Flying at a moment's notice under the guidance of my spirit allies. No map, no plan, and a regular stream of downloads. It was chaotic but necessary.
The Work Now
During that initiatory time I started reading and offering healing sessions, both online and in person. I began on the Sanctuary psychic app and have been reading there ever since — close to three thousand readings on there alone, at 4.9/5 stars. I reconnected with people who knew and trusted me from before and began building my own practice. And I’ve attracted new clients along the way.
If any of this lands with you, I'm here.
"Natalie is able to connect very deeply and to communicate what matters. She invites you to connect in this way with her, which results in a beautiful shared moment that felt sacred and precious. She brings heartfelt warmth, compassionate insights, and healing as needed. It was lovely to receive it all from her."
Caroline
“I first connected with Natalie several years ago through yoga. Whether a vinyasa flow or meditation, her practices always felt deeply intuitive, fluid and poetic. She has now strengthened and honed that energy to provide a deeper and broader array of healing practices and spiritual guidance. Even after several years and many miles, she was able in our session to immediately tap into what was going on in my life and provide insight, affirmation and healing to help guide my journey."
Amy
“I highly recommend Natalie to anyone interested in tarot, psychic work, or healing. She is deeply attuned, genuinely gifted, and has clearly invested in refining her craft.”
