I've had some interesting requests in my time as a psychic and tarot reader. Every day brings something new and most people are coming to me with genuine and perfectly reasonable questions, but there are definitely boundaries I have to draw on a regular basis around what I'll share and what I won't. Here's the perspective from the inside.
Ex’s
Ah bless them. Relationships are a minefield of emotional complexity. I get it. But if you come to me over-focussing on what an ex-partner is thinking, who they're with, whether they'll get married, and what they think of you now I'll steer you away from it. It's not because the information's not there. It is. A fair bit, anyway. And I do use it to inform the guidance I'm sharing. But there's a level of accountability I have to the spirit world that means I don't abuse the privilege of access by putting anyone's right to privacy at risk. Just as I wouldn't share your information with them, nor would I share theirs with you. I can tell you what's relevant for you now and your process. And it's better, because that's actually where all the opportunity lies. Not in the past. But in where you are now.
Similarly, I've had people try to ask me about their current lovers, how many people they've slept with, what they've been up to in their past that would impact the current relationship. Umm. Just no. Pure and simple. Next question.
What to do with your life
This is one that often frustrates people who think a reading is about getting easy answers. It's not. In fact, it usually makes your life more complicated — at least in the short run. I do receive a suggested direction from your guides, but it's a nudge and an invitation, and usually it means a process of reflection on your part. It's a new door opening and you deciding whether you want to walk through it. Or maybe several new doors at once. When you realise you're not the victim of your circumstances, it puts the onus back on you to decide what you want. That's the beauty and the challenge of seeing things from a wider perspective.
Medical Issues
I do get information around health from an energetic perspective. It comes to me as 'their kidneys feel cold' or a 'blockage' in the gut. That's not a diagnosis. It's something I can work with in a healing session. So if it's relevant to what you're working on, I'll say: 'this is worth getting checked out.' Not to panic. Just as a heads up. I won't diagnose, I won't speculate, and I won't pathologise. I know a lot of psychics who over-zealously tell people their aura is black and they need a cleanse. I don't do that. It's not helpful.
So, I'm not a doctor and I can’t give you medical advice. If you need one, go see one.
Mortality
We’re all going to die at some point, you don’t need to be a psychic to know that. But I stay away from offering readings about when that will be. If someone’s really sick and it’s imminent, I may be able to give some guidance around what would make them more comfortable. Other than that, it’s just not my place.
Legal Battles
Another high-stress situation people often come to me with. I can help to some degree. Often the guides will give me a nudge for you. I can get a sense of what's going on from an energetic perspective, you might not have picked up on. I can't tell you how to implement that tactically. I'm not a lawyer and have only very basic understanding of any of that. What I'll sense is — "they're going to fight to their last breath for custody." I don't know for sure if it's even true, honestly, I just know that's what's being shared. What you do with that is up to you.
Business Deals
I can get a sense of the dynamics between you and various business partners, companies and third parties. Often I'll be shown whether they're in alignment with where you're heading or not. I might receive some warnings or advice on how to engage with someone that's mutually more beneficial. Again I can't guarantee it's accurate. I can only share what I'm shown. I can't advise on contracts and terms, as it's, again, a level of detail I don't have.
Random predictions
What I definitely won't tell you is the winning lottery numbers or what stocks to buy. I don't get given that information and even if I did, it would be another abuse of the privilege of access. I'm about helping people on their path towards greater personal and spiritual fulfillment. That typically doesn't chime with getting rich quick. Maybe one day I will have a client and their guides will channel me a set of power numbers. Who knows? So far though, it hasn't happened.
